Treachery is always intentional. Sometimes, unconsciously executed.
Jack told Joe about his sickness. The moment things went south between them, Joe made jest out of the story and spilled the beans.
It wasn’t Jack’s secret to tell.
Moses and Michael agreed to split the profit they’d make from shoes business. The idea was Michael’s. Moses not only did he make a lot of profit, he scarred Michael’s name and disappeared with the money.
Billy promised Lisa a long life of friendship and love. She believed him.
He cheated on her with her cousin and left Lisa in shattered pieces. To think Lisa trusted Jane and treats her like family.
Jane couldn’t control her feelings for Lisa’s boyfriend. She eventually seduced him and at worst, lie about Lisa meeting someone else.
However we look at things we do behind other people’s backs… it’s sometimes not planned. But the choice to make the right decision still lies within us. We just choose to sit on it.
