1. A good idea : Brainstorm a number of creative storylines and find the one that is most compelling and connected to you.
2. Personal experience: find a way in which the story connects to you; your past, your present, your dreams, family, goals, past relationships etc then tell the story from that perspective. For eg; let’s say you are writing an article or blog content related to baking or bakery, remember the first time you baked a cake, the lesson it thought you (probably you burnt it or you hurt yourself on the process) how you were able to fix the problem. Your readers will be engaged because they can relate to your story
3. Issue : What is the compelling issue in your society? Example marriage. Make your research on the topic and related topics, find your connection to these topics, then rewrite them from your own perspective. (Avoid plagiarism!)
4. Start small : a good writer is one who thinks. Writing is all about thinking. What makes you a writer is the actual writing. Take time to build your craft. Patience is key. Let the energy within you flow while you’re writing.
5. Don’t try to be perfect: Write as many drafts as you want until you get what you want. Turn off your internal editor while writing, it ruins the flow. Just write your thoughts unfiltered, raw and fresh and continue the next day till you’re done then go again.
6. Break your projects into smaller tasks and you will not get bored or dread the work.
