Deranged (joker inspired)

“I remember the struggles, the tears and the loud cries which fell on deaf ears”

Sade turned and looked around like there’s someone else Jane was talking to.

Her voice clever and clear until he moved edging closer, holding her gaze with no expression on his face.

He fake sniffed and angled his head. His hands in his pockets.

Jane leaned on the kitchen island and continued her speech but now with a shaky voice.

“I remember… your plans were actualized and I tried to imagine the joy you must have felt…”

Sade smiled.

The memory she shared made him turn. He pondered scratching his head with his right hand and his left, still in his pocket.

“What do you think Jane?”

His thick brows raised.

“How sorry, Do you want me to look” he made a face brushing his long coarse beards with his hand.

Walking closer, he licked his lips and held her gaze.

He quietly rested his hands on her shoulders and rubbed them.

“Tell me Jane. Am I doing it right or not? Do I look sorry enough? Huh!”

Jane caught her breath. She felt a sharp pain in her tummy.

He walked two steps away raising his hands in defiance. “Yes! I touched you, trust me…”

He rubbed his chest, looking at her.

“It felt really good. If you hadn’t struggled…”

“It would have been an amazing memory for you …”

He walked closer and lowered his voice.

He whispered.

“You would have loved it, felt it…. enjoyed it”

“I tortured you and disrespected you you say, well I say-you at some point felt something. Something real. You know it and I know it too”

She shot him a quick glare and clenched her teeth.

“You’re so disgusting”

He snatched her jaw.

Jane sniffed, her eyes wet, her throat dry.

“Blame me all you want. But this, this means nothing to me! I own you! The faster you understand and succumb to my needs, the better for you”

He let his hand trail down her shirt.

Jane froze at his touch, she wished he’d drop dead.

No she won’t cry. Not for this psycho. She tightened her grip on the island and swallowed hard.

“No one will believe you Jane, I’m your step father after all. No one will fight for you. In the end you are still stuck with me.”

He grabbed her nape and smiled. She flinched. The painful memories clouded her head once more.

“Jane honey, for crying out loud stop being so dramatic. Sentiments had always been for suckers and you know me better than anyone. The more you resist me or even try to fight me… the more you turn me on. I’ll keep coming, maybe one day…it’ll get to the part where you’ll begin to feel something”

The spark in his eyes, seemed clearer than the misery Jane’s eyes wore.

He pushed her aside and walked away with a corny smile.

“The little red dress you wore the other night … I think it looked crazy on you”

His index finger raised, laying an emphasis.
