We all crave the same inner positive energy. The type of energy that keeps us cool and calm and calculative, amidst the ups and downs of life. The one that enables us get through the bad days and still stand tall without breaking down on the inside.

Control your emotions : this may seem cliché, but it’s quite important. The smarter you get, the lesser you’re easily offended. Not everything around you deserves a reaction. The more easily you can control your emotions, the more in control you are of your entire being.

I don’t mean swallowing anger and breaking on the inside or allowing yourself taken for granted…

It is, not even allowing the things which are meant to offend you get the best of you.

If someone tries to break you by insulting and throwing curses at you for being in a disagreement with him or her, instead of cursing back and picking a fight, take deep breaths, turn a deaf ear and wear a sexy smile.

You don’t always need the unnecessary stress or the unnecessary outburst of emotions.

Learn to keep your cool. If someone can easily get under your skin, that person has an easy access to you.

That person can control you.

If any and every situation or person can easily have your blood boiling, your internal energy will be all over the place.

You’ll live on constant fight or flight mode. And it’s neither a healthy way of living nor an effective way of solving problems and rectifying situations.

People who can take care of their insides can take care of their outsides. They’re always confident, because they’re at peace with themselves.
