Not Everyone wants to save the world.

Some just wish to die simple. By simple I mean, happy. Free.

People who truly enjoy a simple and free life even though there’s nothing free about it, only endless difficulties and challenging circumstances day and night… these people however live through terrible circumstances by doing one thing –

Learning to love themselves. This is the number one step to self mastery. They embody self sufficient vibes. It means they don’t need to look everyday in the mirror to tell themselves they’re beautiful and sexy before they know it. I’m not saying positive affirmations are not useful, it’s definitely how some people cope with difficult situations by continually shunning negative vibes and trying to be strong which is very cool.

I’m only trying to say that people who have built self confidence to a certain level don’t need self affirming words, they embody it. It means they’ve taken the time to work on themselves spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally, intellectually and even financially.

It means they’re self aware. They know who they are and what they want, they know all about their flaws and perfections. They’ve embraced who they truly are and lived only to improve themselves unapologetically.

So when things get bad, they go through it. They don’t dwell in it, they go through it.

Happiness comes from solving problems. If we don’t try to solve our own problems and only choose to lament over it we become miserable and if we try to avoid it, we become more miserable

If want to get something from someone else, we must try to give it to ourselves first.

You can’t expect what you can’t afford to give yourself. So even when you get something from someone else, something inside you makes you feel like you didn’t deserve it. Or when you don’t get what you expect from people you feel low, disappointed, small, unworthy…

So you want compliments from someone else? Give it to yourself. You want to be irresistible? Become confident and desirable. You want to be recognized? Become a person of value.

What does self love mean to you?
