To wait is literally the scariest, and the loneliest feeling in the world.
Waiting is so hard because you know waiting isn’t the problem. It’s the not knowing how long you’ll have to stand strong, how far along the journey would be.
So while you got zero idea what the turnout would become, you war against yourself. Against the countless self doubts, against the depression, against the anxiety, against the constant overwhelming fear of that which is uncertain.
If you’re not warring against yourself, it’s probably against the external forces— the ill wishers, the abusive partner, the insecure friend, the backstabbers, the greedy loved one, the self important spouse, the sworn enemy, the stereotyped society, the jealous coworker…it never ends.
But once you can get it right within yourself, against all odds, you are the one who is triumphant.
So sing in the waiting, dance in the waiting, laugh while you wait, do the little you can while you’re waiting. You will be fine.
