1. Don’t submit or publish your first draft. Wait a few months between edits (might even take a year)
2. Find reliable critique partners and beta readers. This will improve your manuscript.
3. Trust your own vision for the story. If you’re quick to publish, you might end up regretting it. Wait that story out, polish it properly – make sure you are able to achieve the purpose of the story in the first place. The message, were you able to properly relay it in your story?
Don’t rush your book simply because you want the Author title or you wish to become a best selling author. Remember, quality matters.
